Join us for an evening of remembrance and honor on Saturday, October 11th. Featuring performances from The Pointe School of Dance, food trucks, and a family friendly atmosphere.
Ways to Remember and Honor Your Loved Ones
Introducing the Wall of Light:
For many years at Starlight, our community has honored loved ones through the tradition of decorating boats in their memory or honor. This year, we are introducing a new way to recognize those impacted by cancer: the Wall of Light.
Each guest will have the opportunity to decorate a card in honor or in memory of someone special. These cards will be displayed together, creating a powerful wall filled with names, stories, photos, and heartfelt messages.
While our boats carried light across the water, the Wall of Light will shine just as brightly at our event space — a constellation of love, courage, and remembrance.
This new tradition allows us to continue celebrating lives touched by cancer while creating a space where every card becomes part of a larger, glowing tribute.
Blank cards can be picked up from Absolutely Flowers or The Pointe School of Dance if you wish to decorate in advance. Cards will also be available at the event for decorating.
Reading of Names:
Each year we take time at the event to remember and honor those who have been touched by cancer. Names are read aloud at the conclusion of the evening. Please submit names of your loved ones you would like to be recognized.
Please submit names by Thursday, October 9th to ensure the names are added to our list.
